Mine and Edson characters both used proper titles and rank when speaking even to our enemies and did so politely, just our statements were abrasive. While you might hate us OOC for IC actions we all play on the same server and are entitled to our own opinions on what fun roleplay would be. If you have an open event to the community and ask two factions that were just killing each other 48 hours earlier (Or in our case 15 minutes earlier) you're going to get some heated arguments. Besides, these peace talks ultimately fail. You can always put the blame on Logart and his cronies, the Phantom Legion, and Alysdair's group as we were all at each other's throats most of the night. You can't have a peace summit without extremist on both sides, that is why we were invited to go and that's why we came. If...    less

This will cut down on allot of the traffic. I had suggested 2 from each guild ( that way Logart and myself )-may attend. But she lowered it to just one leader. I will most likely send Logart if he is up to it. Other wise I will be there. Once the meeting went to the private chat--the purpose of being there was lost. When you are going to make a public sermon about death, do as my public speaking professor used to tell us: "Think first, before speaking. Who is your audience and what is the setting? Build your speech from there."
