I didn’t think it could happen, but life has gotten a little boring. Day in and day out, my Lord’s often very busy he doesn’t come home some nights! I worry and supper gets cold, its a good thing he likes left overs.
But the house is clean and aside from the kitchen, it doesn’t seem to get very dirty. When my Lord is home he spends an awful lot of time in his shop out back. I haven’t touched my alchemy set in weeks, I’ve just been milling around the house trying to find things to do other than sit around in a half dark house. To be honest even traveling to Stormwind and seeing the same old stuff in the same windows every couple of days had lost its interest.
My Lord’s been busy with work in Stormwind and he’s been in Hearthglen with some refugees. I helped cook some food for him to take to them. He said he was going to try to bring some to Theramore. I hope he’s able to, he’s such a good man. Even if everyone doesn’t notice.
My Lord came home with a surprise for me the other night though. First I worried that I was in some kind of trouble he said that he and Aria were talking about me. Why would Lady Arialynn wanna talk about me!? Oh then he told me, and I’m going to be in charge of the Templar’s storage! Oh, I was excited! Oh, but also I knew it was going to be a lot of work. I’ve seen the storage space we have in Stormwind. Oh, dear.
I was so excited I tore upstairs and got dressed to go out and brought my Lord’s boots down, and I was going to pack supper to bring with us because I hadn’t fixed supper yet. My Lord agreed to come with me and help me move things, but he made it very clear that he wasn’t doing any work other than that, which was fine. Also, rather than me packing supper he said we’d eat out in the city! Apparently he helped some lady out that owned a tavern and she’s promised him free meals. It was delicious! I had ribs, they were so good, I wonder if I can get the recipe...
Oh, but I was right what I told my Lord, it was a mess. It was a horrible mess! My Lord was moving boxes all night! There was a lot of stuff that just had to be thrown out, some cooking stuff that had gone bad, you’d be surprised what people will buy! Most of the stuff I was able to sell to a few vendors and some even on the auction house. I also started Cataloging it, my Lord helped me do that too!
It was about three or four in the morning before we were done, but now its all neat and there is room to walk around and even store more stuff. I know its going to be tough, I saw the way things were just tossed in there, shoved under the gate and hidden away. My Lord didn’t know we would be out that late, or that there would be so many heavy boxes to move, but at least he didn’t have to do any of the organization work, just move a few dozen things. When we finally got home he went right to bed, even though he said he had a surprise when we got back.
