The only things I really, truly require are:
- A willingness to do multiple takes so we can get the right tone, inflection, and clarity. We might be able to understand each other on Mumble or Ventrilo, but once you add background noise, sound effects, and ambient chatter to a scene, the ability to understand someone talking goes way downhill. Enunciate clearly! Avoid breathing into the microphone!
- The ability to accept constructive criticism.
- A decent microphone and the ability to filter out or at least minimize background noise (no more Taldrus's family blacksmithing behind him!). Microphones are more sensitive than you realize.
- A desire to either join me in recording to get the takes down, or an ability to record your own voice doing the takes.
Big battle scenes are hard. You can't generally shout into typical microphones and have it record properly, and simply increasing the volume of your voice after recording is not always possible (and tends to sound silly).
Also, while I might be writing/directing the audio dramas for the most part, I do not think it's fair (nor do I want) to be the only person handling the scripts.

Question: For our auditions, what exactly would you be looking for? Should our audition involve speech as, say, a character we're able to act as? Also, would you be looking for us to act as, say, our characters? Or NPCs? Or characters you'll be writing for the dramas?
You want Hamlet? I can do Hamlet.
Yes, you read right.
“LOVE”cast.
Not the LORE!
It’s all about the love, baby.
Anyway, Insein and Lellenthyr joined us this month to do an awesome episode and plan the episode out. Mox and I were left in stitches after this episode was done with.
And not only do you get to hear about rumors? You get two audio dramas!
Toddles joins us and does an introduction for us (Voiced by myself, Kanta!)
And Rondah Rumormill, The Inkslinger (Voiced by Apothecary Fromm) does out intro Audio Drama this month! Her goblin voice was so well done, and we <3 her much.
Lelle and Insy have a Forsaken Love facts sit down over tea.
We talk about the Mogfather’s visit to ER.
We talk about Lelle’s matchmaking.
And we give a shout out to Astralai, Jaero and a few other peeps throughout the episode. (Jaerodon’tbanme)
Remember! You can find the LORE application process here!
Looking forward to next month, we’re gonna be cooking up awesome episodes and awesome audio dramas!
